Student Loan Debt Especially Hurts Women

22-year-old twins Mike and Caitlin are one year out of college. Both studied at a four-year University, received bachelor’s degrees in engineering and are 12 months into entry-level jobs. Both siblings carry $20,000 in student loan debt, just about the national average.
