House Farm Bill Would Take Millions Off of Food Stamps

On May 10, Rep. Frank Lucas, Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, and the Committee’s ranking member, Rep. Collin Peterson, released their proposed 2013 farm bill (the Federal Agriculture Reform and Risk Management Act of 2013, or FARRM).[1]   The Committee will consider the bill at a “mark-up” scheduled for May 15.
