Quality Assurance in Higher Ed: A Series

For half a century, the federal government, accreditation bodies, and state agencies together have regulated entry into the higher education market and eligibility for financial aid. There is a growing consensus, however, that this existing system of oversight and quality assurance in higher education is ill-suited to the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
