Sen. Moran joined a bipartisan coalition of members in the U.S. House of Representatives on June 6, 2012 to announce the introduction of Startup Act 2.0 in the House. House sponsors included: Reps. Michael G. Grimm (R-NY), Loretta Sanchez (D-CA), Kevin Yoder (R-KS), Russ Carnahan (D-MO), Devin Nunes (R-CA), Jared Polis (D-CO), and Robert Dold (R-IL). Startup Act 2.0 picks up where the JOBS Act left off by doing more to create an environment in which entrepreneurs can succeed. Research has shown that for close to three decades, companies less than five years old have created almost all of the net new jobs in America—averaging about 3 million jobs each year.
