Greg Mankiw mentions on his blog that a reader had complained that Obama Care was hurting the instructional program at his college, since the school was reducing the use of adjunct professors in order to avoid coming under Obama Care’s insurance mandates. This is truly an unintended consequence of Obama Care, and got me thinking about other, even more profound, unintended consequences that Obama Care and other expansionist federal programs have had, or will have, on higher education.
