The current political climate in America is ruled by extremes.
Trump has emerged from the storm of impeachment stronger than ever. His Republican support only deepens as accusations from opponents increase. And increase they do. Democrats consider the president an existential threat, unlike any political rival they’ve encountered in the past.
Independent-minded American voters who desire to participate in November’s election know they must sacrifice values they previously considered sacred: either lean left and hold their nose for the math-averse “democratic” socialism of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), or ignore the moral failings of President Trump (and the cravenness of the GOP) and pull the lever for the status quo.
