Pete Buttigieg Is Not Ready for Primetime

Transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg went to East Palestine, Ohio, on Feb. 23 in a major concession to the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement. Buttigieg’s trip came three weeks after a Norfolk Southern freight train derailed in the town of fewer than 5,000 residents, releasing hazardous materials and forcing a brief evacuation on both sides of the Ohio-Pennsylvania border.
