Chicago Mayoral Race Forces a Dem Reckoning
Chicagoans are used to political brawls and the April 4 mayoral runoff election won’t be any exception. Last Tuesday, incumbent Lori Lightfoot lost her reelection bid, garnering just 17 percent of the vote in a field split along demographic and ideological lines. Advancing to the runoff are Paul Vallas and Brandon Johnson.
